‘World’s Greatest Hobby’
Take time to ‘get on board’ and see the giant model railroad display located inside the exhibit building at the Chesterfield county Fair. It’s been a favorite ‘fun stop’ for Rail-fans and their families year after year. For 2008, Ben Swann and Peter Martens have brought together the talents of several modelers from around Chesterfield, Amelia and the Richmond area to create a layout that looks better than ever! Plus, you’ll see several new trains take to the rails, as club members bring in steam and diesel motive-power to pull colorful freight rolling stock and sharp looking passenger cars!
Put this event on your ‘must see’ list of things to do as you enjoy all the rides, shows, and other displays at this year’s Chesterfield County Fair! Just have a look at the fun we were having last year, while trackside - at the fairgrounds!!
