Annual Cover Contest

2008 Winner!

The winner of the Premium Book cover contest is Kelly McLemore.  Her hand-drawn artwork will be on the cover of all 2008 Chesterfield County Fair Premium Books.  Kelly is the daughter of Jeanne and Kenny McLemore of Midlothian, Virginia.  She is a rising junior at James River High School this Fall.  Kelly is a member of the National Art Honor Society, the high school dance team and looks forward to singing and dancing with the school’s mixed show choir group, Current Edition.

1st Runner Up

Sohyun “Julie” Park is the first runner-up in the Premium Book Cover contest.  Julie is the daughter of Simok Kim and Seong Park of Midlothian, Virginia.  She is a member of the National Art Honor Society and recently graduated from James River High School.  Next Fall Julie will attend the University of Virginia and pursue a degree in biomedical engineering.

2nd Runner Up

Second runner-up for the contest is Heather Jelinek, a rising junior at Clover Hill High School.  Heather’s parents are Tammy and Randy Jelinek of Midlothian, Virginia. Heather is a member of the French Club, Debate Club, Rock Climbing Club and the Art Guild at Clover Hill High School.
